Christmas: MP for Ketu South feeds Children, the Aged, Physically Challenged, Deaf in her Constituency

The Christmas party brought together over two thousand (2,000) children to eat, dance and interact with the MP.

The Member of Parliament MP for the Ketu South Constituency, Dzifa Abla Gomshie, has organized and a Christmas party for children of the victims of the sea erosion victims that largely affected her Constituency.

The Christmas party brought together over two thousand (2,000) children to eat, dance and interact with the MP.

A similar party was separately held for the Aged, Visually Impaired, Physically Challenged, Albinos, Deaf and Speech Impaired people in communities within the Municipality.

The MP used the occasion to donate a truck load of used and unused clothes, shoes and bags to the communities and the orphanage.

On the 25th of December, she also sent crates of drink, water, bags of rice, cartons of chicken, boxes of cooking oil, cartons of tin tomato paste, water and some token for the other necessary items for cooking,… “earlier that day I sent a truck load of clothes, shoes and bags to all the communities and the orphanage”

The items were received on behalf of the communities by the Assembly Members and opinion leaders in the Blekusu, Agavedzi, Amutsinu-Salakofe and Adina coastal communities.

“I added Blekusu because they had suffered same effects of the Tidal Waves in 2017 and also because victims there are still recovering from then,” the MP stated in a post on Facebook wall.

On Monday December 27, Mama Gomashie as she is affectionately called held another party for the Providence Home orphanage in Aflao.

Madam Gomashie adopted this orphanage in 2012 and have been supporting them since.

“I had more reason to bless them this year because the founder, my friend, Helen King, passed on earlier this year,” she stated.
