COKA thanks God after defeat in NPP polls; says 1.7m NPP member support his brand
Some members of the Ashanti regional communication team led by Keskine Owusu pledged the groups support for him in his future endeavour “you thought us many things during the campaign and has always supported us financially, eventhough you never occupied any regional position.”
Scores of supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), including some government officials on Sunday joined, the defeated NPP Ashanti Regional hopeful, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, aka COKA to thank God for a successful regional delegate congress.
Some members of Parliament in the region, representativs of the Kejetia traders association and some newly elected constituency executives were all in attendance.
The event was held at the Upper Room Assemblies of God Church.

Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah seized the occasion and called on Ghanaians to support the government with prayers “the current economic situation requires prayers and not talking. Let’s pray for the country.”
He thanked supporters of the NPP for the confidence they continue to have in him “the numbers here show that, I command a lot of support. I believe that the 1.7 million people who voted for the NPP in 2020 election also support me”-he said amidst loud cheers.
Some identifiable groups in the NPP honoured the Ashanti regional chairman hopeful.
