Commonwealth Games: Bawumia commends Ghana’s team for sterling performance

The Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has assured government will continue to invest in sports to yield the needed results.

Ghana presented 100 athletes to participate in 13 different competitions, and after 10 days of participating in the games, the country recorded 5 medals, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.

In a Facebook post, Bawumia said, “Congratulations to all Ghanaian athletes who have made our dear nation proud at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.”
