CORRUPTION PHOTO-FINISH: Ghana Police and President’s Office is neck to neck

Corruption is not only about taking BRIBES but OPACITY

The Ghana Police Investigation Reports not being made public, does not help the image of the Police as it is seen as a pliant tool in the hands of corrupt politicians for the cover-up of crime and corruption…

The recent Police statement on the Cantonments Civil Aviation Land Looting is a classic example of why the Ghana Police Service is seen as the most corrupt institution in Ghana…

The Ghana Police Service after conducting an investigation into an allegation that the First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo was part of group of persons stealing the prime State lands and demolishing State Bungalows to build private property currently under construction; stated categorically that the First Lady was not involved but failed to name those stealing the State Land nor arrest the thieves who are still undertaking the development of the State Land but rather arrested the “whistleblower” who they are prosecuting in court without a known complainant.

Mr. IGP, this is the most potent reason why any reasonable person will say that the Ghana Police Service is the most corrupt institution in Ghana.

This is why the Ghana Police Service is perceived to be more corrupt than the Corruption Headquarters;

For the Ghana Police Service to be perceived to be more corrupt than the Office of the President who was called the “Mother Serpent of Corruption” by his own appointed Corruption Czar or Special Prosecutor, is like being more evil than the devil.

QUESTION:

Who is building the tall wall around the Ghana Police Headquarters when the price of building materials like cement and iron rods have shot up so high?

QUESTION:

Where is the money coming from, when Ghana is so broke and needs to borrow money to pay Salaries and indeed everything else?

This sudden unexplained wasteful expenditure on walls is not limited to the Ghana Police alone.

Burma Camp and other military installations are also suddenly being walled with cement and iron rods enough to pay Salaries…

The IGP must look within, conduct an internal survey of Police not the public to gauge the perception of corruption of the Ghana Police Service by police officers anonymously and he will be shocked at the results.

The recruitment of Police officers including Party Police like “Double” and other elements of the Delta Force, needs urgent fixing, if the perception of the Ghana Police Service as the most corrupt institution is to be improved.

Ghana Police Service and Landguardism is yet another Corruption enabler;

QUESTION:

Why does the Police allow its personnel to assist Landguards like Clemence Gyato and Anyok Holdings to undertake illegal and criminal Landguard operations?

Landguardism is a criminal offence outlawed in Ghana and punishable under ACT 1036, yet the Ghana Police Service deploys officers to assist a notorious Landguard who the Lands Ministry has contracted an signed an illegal Agreement to reclaim encroached State Lands and be paid with portions of the State Lands which is subsequently shared with some government officials…

Herein lies the reality of the Corruption, it is no longer a perception.

THE LAW MUST WORK.

Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.

God Save Our Homeland Ghana.
