Cover-ups, Insider-trading, Corruption & Looting: without repercussions amounts to complicity
Instead of Sacking the Board and Management of the SOEs whose infractions Akufo-Addo claims to be unhappy with following the GHc17billion mismanaged, Misappropriated or Stolen by them in 2021...
Complicity of Government at the highest level and actual accusations of President Akufo-Addo being an accomplice to criminal activity cannot be treated lightly.
AriseGhana put the blame of Ghana’s current predicament squarely on the shoulders of President Akufo-Addo, his Vice Bawumia and his government.
The Asantehene put the blame of the failure of the Fight Against Galamsey squarely on President Akufo-Addo.
Others have blamed President Akufo-Addo for many things, the latest being a member of Parliament alleging that President Akufo-Addo was actually an accomplice to the Galamseyers and persons plundering the public purse.
1. The Auditor General fingers some SOEs for a loss of GHc17billion to the public purse and incurred the wrath of the OccupyGhana friends of President Akufo-Addo.
Instead of Sacking the Board and Management of the SOEs whose infractions Akufo-Addo claims to be unhappy with following the GHc17billion mismanaged, Misappropriated or Stolen by them in 2021…
President Akufo-Addo just invited the Board Chairs of the Thieving SOEs to the Jubilee House Corruption Headquarters over tea and lunch just to them to try and not get caught by the Auditor General next year.
2. ECG after the unresolved PDS Scandal is nursing yet another, a Software Scandal.
If it true, that the ECG is trying to force the purchase of New Software from a crony company, and that there was a deliberate “Network Failure” to inconvenience customers so the purchase of a new software will be welcome…
President Akufo-Addo has to do the needful and sack the ECG CEO and others involved…
3. Vigilantism is becoming the new normal and shooting second nature to persons connected to the President.
OccupyGhana must tell their friend [Akufo-Addo] to stop delaying in arresting everybody involved in the Shooting spree at their hometown, Kyebi.
The entire Okyeman Vigilante group must be arrested together with those who setup the Kyebi Private Army or Militia.
NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW.
The lawlessness must end immediately…
4. President Akufo-Addo must show seriousness in the fight against Galamsey.
Mr. Antwi-Boasiako [Chairman Wuntumi] and the officials of his Akonta Mining Company mining in the forest reserve must be immediately arrested.
Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.
The Galamsey counter-accusations being traded by the Lands Minister Samuel Abu Jinapor and the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II obviously has come to the attention of President Akufo-Addo and OccupyGhana.
It is strange that neither OccupyGhana nor President Akufo-Addo have spoken about the categorical accusations stating which Ghanaians are involved in the Galamsey menace.
IT IS TIME FOR ACTION.
Halt All Mining Activities Everywhere…
The only involvement of the Military must be limited to the 48 Engineers Regiment joining a team of experts to use the seized Excavators to remove the polluted soil and water from the diverted polluted rivers and water bodies to restore them to their original status.
There must be a comprehensive blueprint for constructing bridges, roads to aid in transporting safely the polluted soil and water to a confined properly engineered place and tanks.
President Akufo-Addo must address the Nation and lay out the plan and cost.
Obviously Galamsey has occasioned a Health, Social, Economic and Financial losses to Persons, Families, Companies, Communities and the State.
Those who willfully caused Financial Loss to the State as well as other losses will have to prosecuted.
🎼 AriseGhana Youth for your country.
Galamsey cannot be treated as a business as usual issue, likewise the Looting of the Public Purse, State Assets including State Lands and Salt.
The President must be serious or risk the wrath of the Chiefs and People of Ghana.
TIME IS UP!
God Save Our Homeland Ghana and help us survive the WASTED YEARS OF THE AKUFO-ADDO-BAWUMIA GOVERNMENT.
