Covid-19: John Mahama’s donation reaches Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga

The NDC-Upper East Region leadership led by Alhaji Mumuni Bolnaba made the presentation on behalf of His Excellency former President John Dramani Mahama to the management of the Upper East Regional hospital.

The items comprised of 40 sets PPE, 30 N95 Face mask, 20 Gum boots, 90 Foot covers, 1000 Surgical gloves, 130 Coverall, 30 boxes of bottled water, 430 Medicated soap, 100 Liquid soup for Hand washing and 20 Safety Goggles.

This is part of his personal assistance to the health professionals to aid them in the fight against COVID 19.

Many health professionals across the country have cried out for help because of lack of PPE’s to enable them work effectively to mitigate the pandemic. It is for this reason that the former president
procured the PPEs to help health facilities nationwide to fight Covid-19.

The delegation included Chairman Alhaji Bolnaba who led the presentation together with Dr Vida Yakong( NDC Covid- 19 Technical Team Representative), Dr Thomas Anaba(Former CEO, Rigde Hospital) Regional Secretary Mr Akamugri, Mr Muntawakilu Adam’s (Organizer), Alhaji Tijani RCO and other Regional executive.
