Sixty-one percent (61%) of confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in West African country, Ghana, is made up of men, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) says.
Total confirmed cases as reported by the GHS on its official website on Wednesday morning stands at 6,096.
This means the total number of men who have contracted the deadly pandemic in the country are 3,719 while females with the virus are 2,377.
In as much as the country seems to have its case count increasing by the day, it has also been seeing improvements in the number of recoveries.
A total of 1,773 people has recovered of COVID-19 as at Wednesday with the total death toll standing at 31.
Three (3) out of the sixteen (16) regions; Ahafo, Bono East and Savannah are yet to record a single case of COVID-19 in the country.
It would be recalled that Ghana recorded its first two (2) COVID-19 cases on March 12, 2020.
