The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for the Afadzato South Constituency in the Volta Region, Angela Oforiwa Alowu-Tay, has donated a number of Veronica buckets, soaps, wipes and hand sanitizers worth GHC 20,000.00 to communities and health centres within the Afadzato South District.
The donation is part of the MP’s efforts towards helping her constituents in the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
In a short ceremony at Ve-Golokuati which is the Capital of the District, the MP assured her constituents of her continuous commitment and that of the party towards the fight against the deadly COVID-19 that has claimed the lives of over One Hundred Thousand people across the world.
Angela Oforiwa Alorwu-Tay, however, appealed to her constituents to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols of Regularly washing their hands with soaps, frequently use of hand sanitizers and proper hygiene as stipulated by the government, and to ensure that there is no outbreak of the deadly virus in the community.
