COVID-19: NGO donates Food, Face Masks and Sanitizers to Kayayei

All Souls Outreach (ASO), a Non-Governmental Organization that works to alleviate poverty among vulnerable communities in Ghana has donated food and other Covid-19 safety materials to head porters on the streets of Accra.

The program which educated the head porters on the need to adhere to all health protocols to avoid contracting the virus also had the donation of hand sanitizers and face masks to them to keep safe.

Director of ASO, Samuel David Nana Dadzie, speaking at the program explained that the organization took the decision to show love to the poor and vulnerable on the streets of Accra at this difficult time of the Covid-19 pandemic because not much social intervention programs have been designed for them at the moment.

“Being an organization we just want to spread our love outside. All Soul is for all, we don’t discriminate, and we share with all,” he noted.

Nana Dadzie advised the beneficiaries to observe all the health protocols such as social distancing, regular washing of hands and the use of alcohol based hand sanitizers to prevent the virus from infecting them.

He further emphasized that, the virus is real and it will take a collective effort of all persons in the country to curtail the further spread of this virus in the communities.

“I want each and every one to help us to fight Covid-19 because it is real,” he added.

The dynamic Director was full of praise for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and wife of ASO for financing the project and their unrelenting love for the poor and vulnerable in Africa.

Beneficiaries of the items were grateful for the benevolence of All Souls Outreach. They asked other organizations to take a cue and emulate the example.
