CR: NDC Vice Chair for Awutu Senya West surprises Widows and orphans on New Year Day

The annual donation is a corporate social responsibility initiative of the EL Shaddai Group of Companies to touch and save lives.

 

Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya West Constituency, Kalala Eghan, has extended his humanitarian services to widows and orphans in this new year.

Kalala, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of EL Shaddai Group of Companies, donated a set of grocery hampers containing bags of rice, vegetable oil, tomato paste, sardines, tin fish, among others and an undisclosed amount to the Widows and orphans at the Restoration Hour Assemblies of God Church at Jei Krodua.

Kalala explained that it is his role as vice Chairman to help the constituents to enable them to also have a taste of this yuletide.

The presentation ceremony on Sunday, January 1, 2023 was humbly done by the Chief Executive Officer himself. He was assisted by Rev. Daniel K. Abbam and his wife.

The Rev.Minister used the medium to appeal to all stakeholders, individuals and philanthropists for more support to orphans, widows and the vulnerables in the society.

Addressing the congregation, Kalala indicated that the donation was aimed at putting smiles on the faces of widows and orphans on such great occasion.

The beneficiaries also thanked Kalala Eghan for the kind gesture especially in this hard times they never dreamt that they could get such opportunity to celebrate the Christmas together.

“This kind gesture from the staples of Mr Kalala has brought smiles on the faces of families and helped restored our lost hope,” one of them stated.

They said the joy and peace brought to them will forever be appreciated and that they will continue to offer prayers to Kalala to continue his Godly works for humanity.
