CS Constantine arrives in Ghana without captain Miloud Rebiai ahead of Nsoatreman clash

Algerian football club, CS Constantine,  has arrived in Ghana ahead of their upcoming match against Nsoatreman FCin the CAF Confederation Cup.

CS Constantine, is all that stands in the way of Ghana’s MTN FA Cup champions and the group stages of this season’s CAF Confederation Cup.

The Algerian based team arrived in Ghana without captain Miloud Rebiai, who is presently nursing an injury alongside Nigerian forward Tosin Omoyele due to visa issues.

Nsoatreman have so far been impressive in the CAF Champions League campaign, advancing on a 5:0 aggregate in their First preliminary round. The team beat Elect Sports from Chad 3:0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg encounter and advanced to beat them at the 2:0 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.

They also won their first game in the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season at the Nana Konamansah park when they played host to Young Apostles. Nsoatremen won that game 2:0

The Nsoatre based team under the managing skills of Yaw Preko will be looking forward to replicating the same form against their Algerian counterpart.

Nsoatreman FC will host CS Constantine At the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, September 13, 2024, the second leg encounter will be in a week’s time in Constantine.

Club Sportif Constantinois also known as CS Constantine or CSC which was founded in 1898 is currently playing in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

The green and black colours succeeded in qualifying for the semi-final of the Algerian Cup in 1992 and its club was sponsored by the Entreprise Nationale des Travaux aux Puits (ENTP), another firm of Sonatrach since 2016.
