CSU’s Rosa Marie, Priscilla Ofasi and others sweep KNUST awards

CSU’s strong belief in the excellence of its members in all fields of endeavours has seen KNUST students receive Honorary Awards for excellent academic performance.

Five students from the College of Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology received Honorary Awards for their excellent performance in academia Tuesday, March 3 2020. As part of the College’s annual Engineering Week Celebrations, exceptional students with a Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA) of 75 and above receive honorary awards for their distinct academic records.

Mr Henry Nedjoh and Miss Rosemary Agbozo of the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering, Miss Ofasi Priscilla Mawuena and Mr Lawson Benjamin Odartei of the Department of Petroleum and Petrochemical, and Mr Annobil Daniel of the Department of Telecoms Engineering were the recipients of the award.

Miss Rosemary Agbozo, in addition to her EXCELLENT STUDENT AWARD, received a NAME ON THE CHIP AWARD given to students with CWA greater than 80 and the BEST FEMALE COMPUTER ENGINEERING STUDENT sponsored by Microsoft in collaboration with Kepto Computers.

The EXCELLENT STUDENT AWARD recipients are all members of Christ Symbolic Union International, a youthful non-denominational ministry in Ghana established in 2008 by Apostle Vinny Max Bani. The ministry is committed to training the youth to walk in their destinies and grow in the knowledge of God from which the awardees are beneficiaries.
