Daily Manna Foundation donates mechanised borehole to Sekondi School for the Deaf
Speaking at a separate ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of Daily Manna Foundation, Michael Quarshie, expressed his willingness to support the up keep of special children in the region.
Daily Manna Foundation as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, on Friday, December 2 donated items worth Gh¢40,000 to two special schools within Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis.
Items donated include television sets, bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, cartons of soft drinks, crates of eggs, toiletries, plastic chairs, tin tomatoes and milk and a merchandised borehole.
The beneficiary schools are Twincity Special School and Sekondi School for the Deaf.

According to him, the gesture is to inspire the children for a better future.
Headmistress for Twincity Special School Crescentia Efua Bilson-Sai, receiving the items, expressed his gratitude to Daily Manna Foundation for the kind gesture.
She applauded the Foundation for the thoughtful initiative of reaching out to the students of the school and used the opportunity to encourage the general public, religious institutions, and corporate bodies to come to their aid.
On her part, Headmistress for Sekondi School for the Deaf Mrs Favour Aflakpai also expressed her excited and applauded the Daily Manna Foundation for their kind gesture.
She was grateful to the leadership of the Foundation for the construction of a mechanised borehole with a 10,000 litre polytank for the school.
She added that it has been a herculean task and a huge challenge for students of the Sekondi School for the Deaf when it comes to access to portable water and so this has come in handy.
