Dan Abodakpi Endorses NDC’s VOVO

Former Minister and current Chairman of Council of Elders in the Volta region Ambassador Dan Abodakpi has given a tacit endorsement to the “Voice Out Vote Out” (VOVO) initiative.
The VOVO, initiative being spearheaded by the youth in the Party is aimed at intensifying campaign at the base through door-to-door at markets, schools, stadium among others to voice out the ineptitude and corruption of the NPP government and vote them out in the 2024 elections.
This according to the Former MP for Keta is the right way to go and the surest way of clinching victory in the 2024 polls.
Mr. Abodakpi made this statement at the launch of the VOVO initiative held in Accra on Monday (February 5, 2024).
“I hope we will make it work. Some of us will work with you, help you and push you so that your vision will be integrated into our national vision
…I’m certain that we are winning the 2024 elections”, Mr. Abudakpi stressed.
He later commended the Convenors for VOVO and NDC youth for this milestone and prevailed upon them to work extra hard as victory is assured in 2024.
On her part, the 2O20 NDC Vice Presidential Candidate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang admonished the leadership of the group to work with Party structures “so that there is no splinter groups”.
She said even though the initiative is a laudable one, there was the need to synchronize the activities of VOVO and that of the national structures.
She later advised the youth in the party to visit their branches and work hand in hand with the branch Executives in order to secure victory for the NDC.
Other Speakers included Elikem Kotoko, Benjamin Quarshie, the Director of NDC Legal, Godwin Edudzi Tamekloe, Deputy National Communications Officer, Godwin Ako, Gunn all of whom fired a salvo at the Akufo Addo /Bawumia government for “plundering the country into a state of comatose”, insisting that they need to be voted out quick.
