Day 3: Free SHS Food Supplier’s continue Picketing at National Food Buffer Stock Company

The National Food Suppliers Association continues to picket at the National Food Buffer Stock Company, and it is day three (3) since they started this amidst mosquito bites at night and its attendance stress and risks.

The group is accusing the CEO of the Buffer Stock Company, Hanan Abdul-Wahab, of using their monies for his personal aggrandizement leaving them (the suppliers) in abject poverty while with banks chase them. They claimed some banks are even auctioning their properties.

According to them, the Ministry of Education has said that they have paid 90% of their monies to Buffer stock but till the date the CEO, Hanan Abdul Wahab is yet to tell them anything tangible, and that he has been dilly dallying with them and ignoring g their plight.

They are therefore appealing to the government to as a matter of urgency pay their monies to them. They claimed the company owes them an amount of Gh 270 million. They are also demanding President Akufo-Addo to fire the CEO of the Buffer Stock for being incompetent at his job.
