DCE inspects ongoing projects in Bosome-Freho district

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Bosome-Freho District Assembly, in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Yaw Danso, has embarked on a familiarization tour to communities in the district to ascertain the extent of progress on ongoing projects in the area.

Some of the communities visited include Asiwa, Freboye, Amomoso, Asamama, and Nkwantapong. Hon Yaw Danso first visited the Freboye community chip-compound project which is in its final stage of completion.
Addressing the Chiefs and people of the Freboye Community, the DCE disclosed that the Freboye community Chip-Compound after completion will help ease the pressure on the district hospital at Asiwa which is the only health facility in the district.

Hon. Yaw Danso commended the effort put-up by the contracting firm (Alexarko Company Limited) and charged contractor to ensure that, the facility be completed on time and handed over to the community.
Honourable Yaw Danso continued his visit to Amomoso, where a three-classroom block unit which has been completed was commissioned to enhance quality teaching and learning in the area.

He expressed his appreciation for the excellent work done by the contractor and tasked the head-teacher of the school to ensure that the newly constructed edifice is well maintained. He added that the assembly will work harder to raise another similar facility to meet the number of students in the area.

The DCE also inspected the ongoing senior staff bungalow and the construction of new borehole projects for Bosome- Freho Senior High Technical School (BOSTECH), as well as the re-roofing of the school’s boys’ hostel which was destroyed during a heavy downpour in last year December.

The DCE finally took his tour to Nkwantapong for the inspection of the 4 kilometres new road under construction from Nkwantapong to Kokoben which has never had a feel of construction. Hon. Yaw Danso was impressed with the work done so far by the contractors and stated that the assembly will not tolerate shoddy works from any contractor. He, however, appealed to the contractors to speed up their effort to complete the project.

In an exclusive interview with Ghananewsonline.com.gh, the DCE, Hon Yaw Danso indicated that the NPP government will complete all on-going projects started by the previous regime to benefit the people. He added that the Akufo-Addo’s led administration is committed to the well-being of Ghanaians and will work hard in bringing comfort to every Ghanaian.
