Deception in Christianity Exposed
It also touched on homosexuality which he had been crusading against for sometime now.
Apostle Dr. Nasik Kadmel E. H. Agbalenyoh, Founder of Seventh Day Congregation of Theocracy held attenders spell-bound at a seminar he organized recently at the Ghana Girl Guides Centre at Achimota in Accra as he painstakingly exposed the ‘Deception in Christianity’.
At the end of the seminar, which brought together Seventh Day churches, Sunday churches, other religious sects and the general public had the theme “Judaic – Christian Festivals or Roman – Christian Festivals”. It also touched on homosexuality which he had been crusading against for sometime now. This attracted mixed feelings from the audience with tempers rising high against the attempt by some lawyers and professors to defend the practice to force it down the throats of Ghanaians.
ARE WE GETTING MAD?
Insane by this, Chief Alhaji Sullay Issah, the Muslim Chief of Abeka, who was one of the speakers asked if Ghanaians were getting mad. The Chief who described himself as a retired National Security Officer charged the President and his Vice to speak on the issue by declaring their stance so as to bring the issue to an end. While commending the Apsotle for his sole crusading act that spans over thirty (30) years, he assured him of his support, saying that he is also in full support if even it should be at the peril of his life. Chief Issah said that they have a delegation that was touring all the 16 regions throughout the country to create awareness on the need to avoid this beastly act.
GOD GAVE MAN THREE FESTIVALS
When he took the podium, Apostle Agbalenyoh declared that God gave men three Holy festivals for him to celebrate in His honour. These he named as “The feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover), The Feast of Weeks (Feast of the Decalogue and Holy Spirit) and the Feast of Tabernacles (Feast of in-gathering).
Expatiating, he indicated that the Feast of Unleavened Bread or Passover commemorates the departure of the Israelites from bondage, from the land of Egypt on the 14th Abib when God finally brought judgement upon King Pharoah and Egypt as pertained in Exodus 12:6 – 14, and that it also typified the messianic age as on the same day 14 Abib when Christ was crucified (Matthew 26:17 – 19 and this should be celebrated from 14th – 21st Abib, every year, regardless of the day of the week.
On the Festival of Weeks or Pentecost, it commemorates the declaration and giving of the Decalogue on Mt. Sinai.
Touching on the Feast of Tabernacles or Ingathering, he pointed out that it also commemorates the 40 years sojourn of the Israelites in the wilderness and the miraculous works of Yahweh.
In all these, the Apostle stated that Yahweh charged them to observe incessantly in accordance with Isaiah 58:12.
PERSECUTIONS OF THE ISRAELITES
According to the erudite Apostle, the Israelites performed these feats religiously until they got persecuted by the powers that be ranging from Babylon through to Persia to Roman and in the course, many were killed and exiled.
THE INVOLVEMENT OF EMPEROR CONSTANTINE AND THEODOSIUS
He started that, Emperor Constantine the Great, the first Roman Emperor, who professed to be the first Christian, had his own hidden agenda. Subsequently, he replaced the Judaic Christianity with Roman Christianity. So in AD 325, he called the first council of Nicaea, a gathering of the key religious leaders of the Christian leaders of the world. At this meeting, the council attempted to standardize Christian beliefs and practices and gave to history the form of the church that we have today. Constantine was baptized a Christian on his death bed.
Then later in Fourth Century A. D, Emperor Theodosius made Christianity the official religion of the State and declared pagan worship illegal.
Apostle Agbalenyoh indicated that as a result of this, the Romans introduced such pagan practices as Easter and Christmas alien to Judaic festivals. He pointed out that Jesus Christ celebrated the afore-mentioned festivals while alive and stated that he came to fulfill the laws but not to destroy them.
