“Disgruntled Ghanaians” declares Support for NDC Flagbearer

A group calling itself the “Disgruntled Ghanaians in search of John Mahama” (DGISOJM) has declared it’s unalloyed support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama ahead of the crucial December 7 general elections.

In a press statement released on November 28, 2024, the group condemned what it describes as the piercing impact of unimaginable corruption, populist politics, and senseless cruelty of impunity witnessed under the current government contrary to their (government) mouth-watering promises in the 2016 and 2020 electioneering periods, stressing their resolve to come together as a group with the view of joining genuine national calls to change the current leadership trajectory of the country.

The Disgruntled Ghanaians in search of John Mahama is a group of Ghanaian citizens numbering about 300 people from diverse groupings including young people troubled by the actions and inactions of the despotic Nana Addo-led NPP government.

Without any scintilla of doubt, the group strongly believes that John Dramani Mahama possesses the vision, leadership, honesty and integrity required of a leader to move Ghana forward in the current turbulent moment faced with failed promises, economic mismanagement with unbridled taste for corruption and thievery, superintendent under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo -Bawumia led government over the last eight years.

“HE. John Mahama in our view has a proven track record as an esteem leader who kept to promises he made to the Ghanaian people during his first term as a President of the Republic of Ghana as compared to his worthy opponent, HE. Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, a man known for his deceitful character.

In fact, other important factors influencing this important declaration has to do with Mahama’s policy credibility particularly his commitment to creating huge employment opportunities for Ghanaians especially young people through his 24 Hour Economy signature policy and invigorating Ghanaian small scale businesses through the offering of low interest loans.”

HE. John Mahama is development oriented and this aligns with our values and aspirations for a better future,” the group noted in the statement.

It added; “As such, we wish to inform and assure the Flagbearer and Leader of the NDC, HE John Dramani Mahama, entire membership of NDC and the general public that on 7th December, 2024 we are going to vote massively for him to return and reset Ghana for our shared happiness.”

Call to Action:

The group in it’s statement urged all eligible voters to join it in supporting the candidature of Mr John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming election.

“We are confident that Mr. John Dramani Mahama has the character, expertise, and passion to lead our country forward.

We proudly endorse the candidacy of Mr . Mahama and the Vice Presidential Candidate Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang and look forward to working together to ensure their victory.

Together, we can build a brighter future for our nation,” the statement read.
