President Akufo-Addo: What is worse than your Energy Minister’s Arrogance is his Ignorance

I am a Citizen

I have some years of experience working at GNPC, BOST, Energy Commission, Ghana Gas and the Ministry of Energy.

Also, as a social commentator, I have spoken on energy sector issues, especially during the tenure of Tarzan Dr Charles Yves Wereko-Brobbey at VRA.

So, I know at first hand the mannerism, attitude, experience and knowledge- base of Energy Ministers Ato Ahwoi, Kwame Peprah, Edward Salia, John Abu, Ohene Kena, Spio-Gabrah, Kan Dapaah, Mike Ocquaye, Paa Kwesi Nduom, Kofi Adda, Felix Owusu-Agyepong, Joe Oteng-Adjei, Armah Kofi-Buah (and Kwabena Donkor).

Accordingly, I can compare and contrast past Energy Ministers with your Minister of Energy who has married arrogance with ignorance.

These past Ministers of Energy served to the best of their abilities in all humility. When they exited office, they were able to integrate nicely into Ghanaian society.

Was it arrogance which lifted up the NPP’s Aaron Mike Ocquaye from the Ministry of Energy to become the Speaker of Parliament?

Was it arrogance that guided the NPP’s Kan Dapaah from the Ministry of Energy to the other key Ministries of Communication, Interior, Defence and National Security?

President Akufo Addo, as for your Minister of Energy, ARROGANCE and IGNORANCE follow him wherever he goes, and will continue to be his legacy.

Minority Leader Haruna Iddrissu should come for his stone as he cautioned the Minister- nominee about his ARROGANCE during the Parliamentary Vetting.

In recent tines, nothing was as petrifying as the Minister’s crass arrogance and ignorance in the AKER DEAL.

There is news making the circuit that allege that the Minister of Energy did not want to work with some heads of institutions under him, and there were clear signs that buttress the news that the Minister allegedly rented specific media platforms to give those heads of institutions under him very bad press. if you listen and watch carefully you will hear and see. Good blowman job. Fantastic

Citizens will love, welcome and applaud any intra-Akufo-Addo government spats that expose corruption, double standards, conflict of interest, economic and financial sabotage, etc.

Citizens will love to see how the destructive tinderbox for the flares that consume the Akufo-Addo government get ignited by the Minister of Energy.

Energy Security is a National Security issue, so Citizens will love to throw a searchlight on the stewardship of the arrogant and ignorant Minister of Energy.

President Akufo-Addo, are you aware that what is worse than your Minister’s arrogance is his Ignorance of Energy Sector Issues?
