Don’t vote for a clueless mate who learnt how to drive from a driver ‘banza’ – Mahama to Ghanaians

According to Mahama, what is more astonishing is the fact that the Vice President is absolving himself of blame from the woes of the administration after failing in his economic transformation.

The flag bearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is asking Ghanaians not to vote for a clueless driver who learnt how to drive from an inexperienced master.

John Dramani Mahama says the Vice President and flag bearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, after failing woefully with the economy with which he was introduced to Ghanaians, has turned to digitalisation.

According to Mahama, what is more astonishing is the fact that the Vice President is absolving himself of blame from the woes of the administration after failing in his economic transformation.

As part of his campaign tour to the Bono East region, he told constituents of Kintampo Thursday, September 05, 2024, that the nation cannot be entrusted in the care of an apprentice who has learnt from a clueless driver.

“You were brought to fix our economy but after messing everything up, you have now shifted to digitalisation. What’s even more surprising is that he was a driver’s mate and knows nothing about the economy. He says he wasn’t the one in command of the steering.

“So, a driver’s mate who is learning driving from a ‘driver banza‘ (clueless driver) who has had an accident with the bus, how do you tell us to give you the bus? Your master is not even experienced and he has gotten an accident and you are saying we should give you the steering” he asked.

The former President urged the constituents to consider an experienced driver whom they have seen driven before and bequeath the steering into his hands to move the nation to its intended destination.

“Won’t we go and look for an experienced driver with a license whom we’ve seen driven the car before?” he questioned.
