Concerned Doctors caution against Akufo-Addo’s Dangerously Authoritarian Covid Vaccine

Doctors and medical experts in Ghana have joined hundreds of thousands of their colleagues worldwide to kick against President Akufo Addo’s authoritarian and unscientific plan to mandate the dubious COVID-19 vaccines in Ghana.

The Doctors in a comprehensive petition written to the Jubilee House on January 10, 2021, said the data on cases of COVID-19 in Ghana shows that a mandate for vaccines in Ghana was a dangerous overkill, citing how more fully vaccinated individuals are getting seriously ill and dying of COVID-19 worldwide.

Available scientific studies also prove that the available vaccines wane in effectiveness to as low as 30% within three months. This is why the most highly-vaccinated countries have been forced to start rolling our emergency boosters, including Israel which is injecting its citizens with the fourth booster because the first two did not work as promised.

The doctors in their petition cited data from across the world backing their caution to the President from using the vaccine mandates to killing more Ghanaians.

“…In the state of Vermont, USA, it has been shown that 79% of deaths in September 2021 were among fully vaccinated individuals. Over the month of September last year in the UK, approximately 79% of deaths were among fully vaccinated individuals as well. There are even schools of thought that theorise that the vaccinated are the main drivers of the pandemic,” the coalition of Ghanaians doctors warn the adamant Akufo Addo administration.

A private initiative called Reporting Vaccines Ghana (RVG) estimates that if the government forces mandates, about 1,900 Ghanaians are likely to will die and some 500,000 others may suffer adverse vaccine reactions such as strokes, heart attacks, etc., from the 4.2 million Pfizer vaccines given to Ghana “free-of-charge”. Yet, there are about 2 million vaccine doses that the Akufo Addo administration is attempting to force on Ghanaians.

Meanwhile, contrary to a persistent campaign of fear and misinformation peddled by the Ghana Health Services (GHS), the President’s chief health advisor, Dr. Nsiah Asare, the Ministry of Health and other government officials, COVID-19 deaths and caseload in Ghana is that negligible as not to warrant forcing vaccine mandates that do not erase the fact that their risks are more than their benefits.

Also, all the available vaccines are still experimental, as the Phase 3 clinical studies to determine their long-term effects are scheduled to end in 2023. Hence, experts question the rationale of the Akufo Addo administration attempting to impose such an experimental drug based on a new mRNA technology on Ghanaians.

At the rate of reported deaths and serious adverse reactions to the vaccines, it is expected that thousands of Ghanaians will likely be killed or be infected with heart diseases, Thrombosis, strokes and cancers if forced by the government to take the vaccines.

Investigations by Whatsup News show that so far, the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s vaccine adverse reporting platform has recorded over two million fatal adverse reactions and deaths worldwide. America’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has recorded some 20,000 deaths from most of the vaccines administered in the country, including Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Jonson, and AstraZeneca.

As of January 5, 2022, Ghana had recorded 148,079 total cases of COVID-19 with 13,576 active cases, 1,313 deaths and over 99.1% of those recorded cases recovering.

The numbers show that COVID-19 fatalities in the past two years in Ghana are way below regular fatalities like road accidents which recorded almost 3,000 deaths in less than one year in 2021. Several thousand had also died from Malaria and other congenital diseases more than COVID-19

“At first glance, these numbers do not seem to adequately portray this pandemic with quite a number of Ghanaians who trust in the media seeing this disease to be a death sentence,” the medical experts wrote in their petition to the Jubilee house.

The petition confirmed the scientifically proven trend of COVID-19 trends worldwide that over 95% of those who die of the disease are above 65 years old with multiple or serious co-morbidities such as diabetes, anxiety, hypertension, heart diseases, cancers, etc.

“Also, the case fatality rate is probably much lower if you consider the fact that most people are testing (both symptomatic and asymptomatic) which underestimate the denominator and probably exaggerates the case fatality rate,” the doctors said in the petition signed by Dr. Timothy Oblijah Armah, Dr. Bismark Opoku-Asare, Dr. Faisal Adjei, Dr. William Ghunney and Dr. Bernard Boateng Adjei, Dr. Doreen Oye Agyei, Dr. Michael Agyemang-Wiredu, Dr. Richard Fayah, Dr. Sedem Cyril Klinogoh, etc.

This group of doctors points out the sustained agenda to bastardize known scientific and epidemiological facts by the GHS and the Akufo-Addo administration to mandate vaccines, including a total disregard of how powerful natural immunity protects Ghanaians against COVID-19, a factor that had possibly prevented the so-called pandemic from rampantly killing its victims in the highly social Ghanaian society.

“Acquired immunity after recovery from infection, commonly referred to as natural immunity, has been largely ignored and even in some circles treated as conspiracy theory. For decades in immunology, full recovery from viral infections confers some form of immunity against the disease caused by those viruses, almost always better than the vaccine,” the Ghanaian doctors wrote.

The doctors cited the biggest study in Israel that showed that natural immunity is 13 times better than the vaccine.

Whatsup News can also report that there are at least 136 other studies worldwide that show that natural immunity is far better and longer-lasting than all the vaccines the Akufo-Addo administration is attempting to force Ghanaians to inject.

It is unclear why the Akufo-Addo administration is adamant about enforcing vaccine mandates in the country despite the extensive body of evidence showing the serious threat they pose to the health of thousands of recipients, including children who stand no risk of being affected negatively by COVID-19 in any way.
