On the use of DRONES to monitor on a continuous basis Galamsey activities and map out real-time solutions, the Lands Minister stated that;

“I flew over the entire Southern sector of Ghana in the first month of my appointment and I observed that the entire area had been devastated by Galamseyers spanning decades not six (6)years…”

Samuel Abu Jinapor ended the interview as follows;

“We shall go after the Big fish, the Barons, the Kingpins who import 300, 500 Excavators to be used in Galamsey.”

The Lands Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor inadvertently transferred the responsibility of fighting Galamsey to the Defence Minister, Dominic Nitiwul by exclusively putting the fight in the hands of the Military and its chain of command…

Without a declaration of a State of Emergency, illegally putting the Military rather than the Police in charge of internal security operations cannot be condoned…

The contradiction of the Lands Minister in his statements on the burning of Excavators exposed his lack of candour as he in one breath claims the Excavators will be seized and handed over to the Police in accordance with the law, when he had previously supervised the burning and stealing of Excavators and other items including GUNS, GOLD, MONEY, VEHICLES and other evidence seized at Galamsey sites by the various government Task Forces and the Military.

After Willfully Causing Financial Loss to the State, supervising the devastation of the Forests, Farmlands, Cash crops including Cocoa, Rivers and Water Bodies in the cause of plundering the natural resources of Ghana;

Samuel Abu Jinapor, Benito Owusu-Bio and George Mireku Duker MUST STEP-ASIDE, RESIGN or BE REMOVED to allow for proper investigation to be conducted without any undue Interference.

If President Akufo-Addo does not take the necessary action, Ghanaians may be compelled to.

Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.
