Driver’s mate battles for his life after engaging in dangerous driving

A driver’s mate is in critical condition after he sustained serious injuries in an accident at Asomdwee, a suburb of Mankessim in the Mfanteman Municipality in the Central Region.

According to reports, the victim on Wednesday morning is said to have engaged in a car racing competition with his colleague who was driving another vehicle over who could drive faster.

Driving at top speed from home to the station, he lost control resulting in the vehicle somersaulting several times into a ditch.

The injured young man was attended to soon after the incident and was rushed to the Mankessim Roman Hospital for treatment where he’s in critical condition.
