Dumsor is back but government is failing to provide a timetable – Minority

Ranking Member on the Mines and Energy Committee of Parliament, Adam Mutawakilu, has observed that dumsor is back in the country, however, the government is failing to provide a timetable to inform Ghanaians about it.

He said Ghana is currently experiencing load shedding due to what he termed “the incompetence of the current administration”.

In an interview with some members of the parliamentary correspondent,Hon Mutawakilu said the recent power outages being experienced all over the country are a reflection of the financial troubles facing the energy sector due to government’s mismanagement of the sector.

Subsequently, he has asked the government to urgently provide the people with a timetable to enable them plan their daily activities effectively.

Adam Mutawakilu who is also the Mmember of Parliament for Damongo said a load shedding timetable when announced would also help businesses plan.
