E/R: Customers unable to load ECG pre-paid credit due to system failure

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced to its customers in the Eastern Region that there is a challenge to the e-cash payment system.

This has resulted in most customers unable to top up their prepaid credit.

“ECG wishes to assure the affected customers that, our ICT team is working assiduously to rectify the challenge,” it said in a notice on Thursday, May 12.

“ECG regrets the inconvenience caused.”
