Early Elections to save Ghana’s Junk Economy: Reshuffle and IMF cannot

Waiting till 2024 to vote out the NPP means Ghana's Economic situation would have moved from Junk to unrecoverable especially as the President thinks that the current situation is outstanding.

The entire Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government must be replaced to turn Ghana around.

This is because the performance of the entire government is JUNK.

President Akufo-Addo’s definition of OUTSTANDING performance is Ghanaians’ definition of ABYSMAL performance.

Waiting till 2024 to vote out the NPP means Ghana’s Economic situation would have moved from Junk to unrecoverable especially as the President thinks that the current situation is outstanding.

In some jurisdictions, especially where the Prime Ministerial system is practiced like Israel, Italy and the United Kingdom; there will be resignations and snap elections…

In other jurisdictions, like Tunisia, Algeria and Sri Lanka; the will be a Civil Uprising to forcibly remove the President and his government from power…

The last option which is the least fancied is the removal by force of arms usually by the Military, that option must be avoided by Ghanaians all cost.

A Caretaker government as opposed to a Union Government, may be required to oversee the election of a new Government to turn around the fortunes of Ghana.

The Electoral Commission has to be overhauled before any such elections to ensure the outcome is acceptable to Ghanaians and the International community.

The investor community would in the event of a smooth change in government give Ghana a fresh start as was done in 2001 when Ghana declared HIPC and grant the new government debt forgiveness and a moratorium on debt servicing as required to salvage Ghana’s Junk Economy and put it on a path of recovery.

A smooth change of government is essential, as a reshuffle has been poopooed by the President.

QUESTION:

What are the Legal and Constitutional means of changing government in Ghana?

Can a President be removed by Legal and Constitutional means?

Can Early Elections be held in Ghana, and under what circumstances?

Early Elections and an inevitable Civil Uprising, may sound like a rock and a hard place for some, but certainly better than the OUTSTANDING PLACE where Ghana is headed under President Akufo-Addo.

When government fails to pay Salaries and worker Unions’ anger boils over the COLA deception…

When the Youth unemployment situation escalates and all hope is lost…

When the excruciating hardships Ghanaians are suffering goes up an extra notch…

President Akufo-Addo will then see sense in an Early Election.

After watching the clashes between the students of Commonwealth Hall and Mensah Sarbah Hall;

Most Ghanaians shudder to imagine the ArabSpring or GhanaSpring that Akufo-Addo described in the studios of Peace FM on Kwame Sefa Kayi’s Kokrokoo show and the Uprising that Kwadwo Mpiani warned about.

Ghanaians must do everything to prevent the collapse of Ghana, Ghanaians must prevent a Coup at all cost and defend the Constitution at all times.

Early Elections using the Constitution is possible, let’s look closely at the how, when and save Our Homeland Ghana.

God Bless Our Homeland Ghana.
