ECG disconnects Accra Digital Center over 600K debt

The digital centre had its power supply cut off by the Accra West regional taskforce of the ECG over a debt of GHS600,000.

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has cut power supply to the Accra Digital Centre.

The ECG disconnected the digital centre as part of a nationwide exercise to mobilise revenue for the power-distributing company.

The digital centre had its power supply cut off by the Accra West regional taskforce of the ECG over a debt of GHS600,000.

The Centre was disconnected on Monday, 17 April 2023.
