Ejisu By-Election: NPP clears all Nine aspirants
The party is urging all candidates to run a fair and transparent campaign leading up to the primary election.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP), has approved all nine candidates who submitted nomination forms to participate in the Ejisu Parliamentary primary scheduled for April 13, 2024.
Evans Nimarko, the Party’s Director of Elections, stated that the decision was made to prevent any division or confusion within the party, allowing all nine candidates to vie for the position.
The party is urging all candidates to run a fair and transparent campaign leading up to the primary election.
Nominations were opened on April 2, 2024, following the passing of incumbent MP John Kuma on March 7, 2024. Nine individuals successfully submitted their forms for consideration in the primary election to select the party’s candidate for the upcoming by-election overseen by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
The candidates include Dr. Evans Duah, Kwesi Nyantakyi, Kwabena Boateng, Portia Acheampong Abronye, Abena Pokua Amoah, Helena Mensah, Clinsman Karikari Mensah, Maame Yaa Aboagye, and Aaron Prince Duah.
