Ekumfi F&J Ltd and Central Citrus Ltd Secure Export contract for 24Hr Production

Ekumfi Fruits and Juices Ltd, a leading manufacturer of Made in Ghana range of juices of international standards, acceptance and repute and is currently sold on walmart.com,  has finally secured a contract requiring a 24Hr Production.

This new contract is expected to create over 12,000 Jobs with its 24Hr operations, promoting job creation in one of the most deprived districts of Ghana

The Company has recently had a partnership with Central Citrus Ltd, the Largest Citrus Factory in West Africa built with Local Material Support from Dzata Cement, and is expected to create over 15,000 jobs as it commences it 24 Hour production in the AAK district.

The Central Citrus Ltd through 24Hr Production is processing 15tons/hr orange where new varieties of high yielding and tasty citrus, the Pixie variety, to be launched for farmers in the communities to replace their outdated crops and create sustainable livelihood for the youth whiles promoting import substitution and for export.

These companies and more others to be established together with Komeda Sugar Factory could create a huge opportunity for Ghana in the Natural Food and Beverages industry which is globally estimated at over 550Billlion USD with Ghana currently importing  $250m per annum of which we need to reset the narrative

It is estimated that Ghana could make over 5Billion USD per year from its fruits and Exotics Value Chain with only 800k Hectares which is 1/3 total cocoa farms Ghana whiles creating over 900k Direct Jobs
