As part of activities aimed at enhancing the chances of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Zongo communities across the country, the National Zongo Caucus Coordinator of the party, Alhaji Cole Younger, has presented a Mahindra pick-up vehicle to the Northern Regional Zongo Caucus coordinator, Hajia Jamila Amadu. This is to facilitate her mobilization drive in the region ahead of the upcoming general elections on December 7.
The move forms part of activities by the caucus to retool that specific wing of the party for effective and efficient campaign this year .
At a brief presentation ceremony in Accra, Alhaji Cole Younger advised the recipient to handle the vehicle with care and also use it for the intended purpose – to reach out to all Zongo communities within her jurisdiction.
Alhaji Cole Younger said similar presentations would be made to the Ashanti Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator soon.
He promised to make similar donation to other branches of the caucus to enable them execute their mandate well.
