He stated that these initiatives align with emerging global trends in technology and innovation.

Ahiagbah criticised the opposition’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), claiming that Mahama lacks a vision for embracing advancements in AI and IT.

He urged Ghanaians to reject the NDC leader, arguing that his approach does not reflect the needs of a modern, tech-driven world.

The NPP reiterated its commitment to leveraging technology as a tool for development, particularly in empowering the youth, and urged voters to consider the future trajectory of the nation when casting their ballots.

“Bawumia’s economic plan is designed to make the Ghanaian youth globally competitive through his focus on information technology, coding and programming, robotics, AI and the Internet of Things. That is the future economy and Bawumia’s idea will put the Ghanaian on centre stage and make us competitive.

“One of the reasons is that the world is trending that way. AI is taking over, and if we make a mistake and elect the alternative, they have no idea. They don’t believe in it. Their ideas don’t align with the trends on the globe,” he stated.

“They are engaged in ‘small ball politics’. They are saying things that will tickle your fantasy, not in a positive way, but to make you angry and incite you against the government that is trying to do the best.”
