Election 2024: Mahama sends strong caution note to NPP

"In 2024 the elections will be won or lost at the polling station. We won't wait for collation center or Supreme Court, no! At the Collation Center and Polling Station we would do everything possible to make sure that the election is Free and Fair"

Former President Mahama has served notice of the NDC’s intention to police the ballots during what he describes as a “do or die” 2024 poll.

According to him, following the party’s controversial loss in the 2020 elections, it has learnt lessons and has marshalled resources to win on the ground rather than seeking redress at the Supreme Court.

“They say whatever happens learn from it. In 2020 we have also learnt our lessons. The elections would be won or lost at the polling station. It will be a do or die affair at the polling station. I didn’t say all-die-be-die, i said do or die. In 2024 the elections will be won or lost at the polling station. We won’t wait for collation center or Supreme Court, no! At the Collation Center and Polling Station we would do everything possible to make sure that the election is Free and Fair. We don’t want to cheat the NPP, and we also don’t want to be cheated, let the elections be free and fair and let Ghanaians decide who they want as President,” he said.
