In the last few weeks, it has emerged that 500 excavators have gone missing without resort to any hardcore evidence to support such claims and for which reason, best known to the architects, who have vowed to damage the hard-earned reputation of Horace Ekow Ewusie—the suspended Central Regional First Vice Chairman of New Patriotic Party (NPP), and to use him as a sacrificial lamb of the misdeeds of some party bigwigs irrespective of the consequences to the party.
Deep throat sources within the NPP in the Central Region have revealed to Today that three (3) consistent meetings were held at the office of the Hon Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection and Member of Parliament for Agona West—Hon Mrs Cynthia Morrison—to orchestrate this dull witted agenda in order to publish in the media landscape that some 500 excavators had evaporated, and afterwards cause the arrest and possible prosecution and incarceration of Ekow Ewusie.
Crafters of this ill-will agenda included the Central Regional Chairman of NPP–Mr. Robert Kingsford Kutin Jnr., and Hon Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, Transport Minister.
This well-calculated agenda, the paper’s investigations established, was aimed at maliciously causing total disgrace to the person of Mr Ekow Ewusie, whose hard work in the region has sustained the party since its assumption into office in 2017.
The next agendum was to instigate him against the police to proceed to court after his arrest and incite the court to remand him in prison custody until such time that the CID will complete its investigations.
Further to pray to the court or any law enforcement agency directly connected with crimes of this nature to freeze all his personal bank accounts.
It will be of absolute interest to readers to also know that the next step to this cruel plan was that the perpetrators were going to sponsor some supposed party faithful(s) to demonstrate to the national officers of the party to petition them in order to eliminate the Mr Horace Ekow-Ewusie from the party as he has allegedly brought the name of the party into disrepute and public ridicule.
These fact findings as revealed by deep throat sources within the party and close associates of the perpetrators were grounded in the mere reason that when the suspended Central Regional First Vice Chairman of NPP—Chairman Ekow Ewusie, is put behind bars, then his agenda to unseat some non-performing members of Parliament (MPs) in the Central Region will be shattered and broken into miserable pieces.
An executive member of the party in the Upper Denkyira East Constituency in the Central Region also informed us that the Minister of Transport, Hon Asiamah, indicated to him that the grounds work for this malicious and dirty driven plan has been made and nothing could block this agenda.
Today has further gathered that the current unfortunate happenings of the NPP in the Central Region has demoralised young patriots across the region and destabilised party activities as well as causing disaffection and grave apathy to the teeming and enterprising youth in the region.
They see Ekow Ewusie as a benevolent man willing to help all and sundry.
A cross-section of the youth have petitioned the national leadership of the party to settle this matter and caution or instigate disciplinary proceedings against this architects as the party was bent on losing miserably in the upcoming general election, a misfortune that will cost the President and the party at large.
