Female Ambassadors to Ghana Pay Courtesy Visit to Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman

On February 4, 2025, a delegation of accredited female Ambassadors to Ghana, led by Dr. Erieka Bennett, Founder of the Official Embassy for the 6th Region of Africa, paid a courtesy visit to Ghana’s Vice President, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman. The visit, held at the Office of the Vice President, reaffirmed the Ambassadors’ commitment to supporting Ghana’s development.

Commitment to Ghana’s Development

During the meeting, the female Ambassadors pledged their support to the Vice President and reiterated their dedication to fostering Ghana’s growth. Dr. Erieka Bennett, also presented an overview of the DAF Youth Empowerment and Training Center (DAFYETC), a flagship initiative aimed at equipping young people with essential skills in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

As part of this initiative, DAFYETC pledged 20 scholarships to the Vice President’s office to support youth empowerment in Ghana. The center is now actively open to young people, offering training in digital skills to enhance their employability and bridge the ICT skills gap.
