A violent fire has ravaged parts of Accra Academy Wednesday night, DailymailGh can report.

It is unclear what might have caused the fire.

Photos and videos widely circulated on social media claim dormitories in two halls of residences in the school, namely Alema and Halm-Addo were gutted by fire.

It is yet to be established whether a casualty has been recorded as hundreds of students were being evacuated from the scene.

The fire service is currently at the scene, located at Bubiashie to bring the situation under control.
