Fire ravages Kantamanto market

Some parts of the Kantamanto market in Accra is on fire.

The fire which is believed to have started last night has still not been doused destroying properties worth millions of cedis as at this morning.

Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service are at the scene trying to bring the fire under control.

This incident comes two weeks after the GCB bank at Kantamanto was gutted by fire.

In mid-November too, a dawn fire at the Odawna market near the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra destroyed goods worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
