First Lady donates ambulance to Huni Valley Health Centre

She noted that the foundation had previously donated ambulances to the West Gonja District Polyclinic in the Northern Region, the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Paediatric and Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, the Komfo Anokye Mother and Baby Unit in Kumasi, the Osu Maternity Home, the Sakumono Community Hospital, and the Valley View University Hospital.

The First Lady of Ghana and the founder of Rebecca Foundation, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has donated an ambulance to the Huni Valley Health Centre in the Prestea-Huni Valley Municipality of the Western Region on Tuesday, February 27.

In a Facebook, she attributed the donation as a fulfilment of a promise she made when inaugurating a refurbished 26-bed capacity Huni Valley Health Centre on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

She noted that the foundation had previously donated ambulances to the West Gonja District Polyclinic in the Northern Region, the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Paediatric and Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, the Komfo Anokye Mother and Baby Unit in Kumasi, the Osu Maternity Home, the Sakumono Community Hospital, and the Valley View University Hospital.

However, she is hoping the ambulance will help improve the quality of healthcare delivery in the area.
