First National Bank Ghana wins big at the Ghana Property Awards

Receiving the award on behalf of the First National Bank, he credited the bank’s achievement to the strong performance of the Home Loans business despite the economic challenges in the country.

First National Bank Ghana has picked up the “leading mortgage company of the year” award at the 15th Ghana Property Awards organized by Property Express Group in collaboration with the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA), Ministry of Works and Housing and other stakeholders in the property and construction sector.

The award makes First National Bank the most recognized financial Institution dedicated to making a greater impact in the housing industry in Ghana.

The Executive Head of Home Loans Business at First National Bank, Kojo Addo-Kufuor, was also adjudged the “mortgage practitioner of the decade” at the same awards ceremony.

Receiving the award on behalf of the First National Bank, he credited the bank’s achievement to the strong performance of the Home Loans business despite the economic challenges in the country.

He said one of the goals of the bank is to be the leader in the world-class provision of home loans, and the experience over the years puts the bank in the position to be the one stop shop and most trusted residential mortgage finance provider in Ghana.

He went on further to explain that First National Bank places a lot of value on the interests of customers and will continue providing customer centered products for the benefit of all Ghanaians to bridge the housing gap.

First National Bank has disbursed over $200 million in mortgages to over 5,100 households across the country. Currently the leader in the residential mortgage finance market with over 36% share of total home loans, First National Bank has recently added to its products list bancassurance and remittances (MTN mobile money included).
