Former FIFA U20 World Cup winner Awako joins Great Olympics

Former Ghana Under-20 star midfielder Gladson Awako has joined Premier League side Accra Great Olympics.

The former TP Mazambe man has signed a two-year deal with the Blue and Whites, Dailymailgh.com sources can reveal.

The box-to-box midfield gem has been without a club for a while after an unsuccessful stint with Rising Phoenix in the United State of America and is looking to relaunch his career with the ‘Oly Dade’ outfit.

Awako was part of the 2009 Black Satellite team that made history of becoming the first and only African country to win the FIFA youth tournament in Egypt a decade ago.
