Freda Prempeh Urges NPP to Rally Behind Bawumia-Napo Ticket for Election 2024 Victory

Dr Freda Prempeh, Member of Parliament for the Tano North constituency, has called upon the New Patriotic Party (NPP) faithful to throw their full support behind the Bawumia-Napo ticket in the upcoming 2024 general elections to secure a resounding victory and maintain political dominance.

Speaking to journalists in Duayaw-Nkwanta, Dr. Prempeh emphasized the transformative achievements under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration, asserting that the NPP is poised to win with a wider margin and silence their political opponents, the NDC.

With the selection of Dr Matthew Opoku-Prempeh, MP for Manhyia, as Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate, Dr Prempeh expressed confidence that their campaign slogan of “breaking the eight” would be easier to achieve. She hailed Dr. Opoku-Prempeh’s popularity among grassroots supporters and across political lines, citing his strong appeal as a unifying force.

Dr. Prempeh urged party members to unite and focus on consolidating their achievements to win over voters. She acknowledged the challenges ahead from political opponents. Still, she urged resilience and a unified front to uphold the NPP’s track record and commitment to furthering national development.

Reflecting on the forthcoming election, Dr Prempeh highlighted Dr Opoku-Prempeh’s work ethic, charisma, and proven track record, complemented by Dr Bawumia’s integrity and leadership qualities. She stressed the importance of effectively communicating their achievements to maintain public trust and secure electoral victory.

“As a great elephant party, we must remain steadfast and undeterred in our goal to break the eight,” Dr Prempeh affirmed, underscoring the need for cohesive action and strategic communication to cement the NPP’s position as the preferred choice for governance.

The NPP, under the leadership of NPP President Nana Addo Dunkwa, aims to leverage its achievements in governance to secure another term in office, promising continuity and enhanced development for the nation.
