From a Confused Politician to An Event Organiser – A Sad Twist to Alan’s story

In order to showcase his multi talents, Alan Kyeremanten has turned into an aged party-goer and organiser. I understand that he is organising a megastar party at East-Legon, hoping against all odds that the youth will be exposed to his poisonous rhetoric.

You see, arrogance, just like opinions, are like noses, every human being has it, although the size and beauty with which it is carried determines whether it is within the ambits of normalcy or out of place such that you may want to go through cosmetic surgery to make it acceptable. Unfortunately, the only problem is that unlike noses, arrogance needs psychological evaluation and treatment albeit the results are not guaranteed. That is the bane of Alan Kyerematen!

I had decided, since he entered the catacombs of the wicked, not to discuss him at all, and though all that he said and did could be brushed aside as signs and symptoms of ingrates and haughty empty-headed fools, the scathing attack on His Excellency John Agyekum Kuffour (former President, aka “gentle giant”) cannot be allowed to pass. In fact, it is too elephantine to go through the already wide orifice of tolerance.

So, among a plethora of false and unjustified accusations, he stated that over 70% of President Kuffour’s policies were his ideas. Really? When in office as the Minster for Trade under this current government, he could not have achieved any feat without guidance and string-pulling by President Akufo-Addo. So what nonsense was he talking about, at all?

To say that he could have beaten JAK in the presidential primaries of the NPP, and that he, also, bowed out of the 2007 primaries in favour of Nana Akufo-Addo for the sake of our party are the most bamboozling lies to say. First of all, he only bowed out because he knew that the second round of voting would increase the margin between Nana and him. It was just a face saving gimmick! I say so because if the motive was the Party’s unity, he would not have resigned from it in 2008. As for beating Kuffour in the presidential primaries, we will let that go because, maybe, the witches in his closet were screwing with his head.

Anyway, former President Kuffour soon realised that Alan Kyeremanten was as empty as a dry and wasted calabash. In the same breath, he took note of the sterling performance of Dr Mahmound Bawumia as the best vice president Ghana has ever had. That informed the decision to throw his support for him. On the other hand, Alan Kyeremanten abandoned the NPP in 2008 out of dissent for the outcome of the flagbearership primaries. Then, when he saw an opportunity for gain, his selfishness drove him back to the 2012 campaign. Even during the election petition of 2013, he attended proceedings once or twice, yet on the 29th of August of that year, when the verdict was going to be pronounced, he hurriedly attended in order to feel relevant. That, in my opinion, was an inescapable urge to brainwash the electorate into believing that he had always been there. Unfortunately, it stunk like that silent, hot and poisonous fart that burns as it is let out. Tweaa!

Alan Kyeremanten must be intrinsically full of hatred and jealousy. He fought Muslims and Northerners as if they were his sworn enemies. But why am I surprised? After all, he attacked his Master and Mentor, President J.A. Kuffour, not to mention the unprintable insults and backbiting against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, his senior by far! What must former President Kuffour do at all if he has seen through Alan as the biggest mirage of a politician our dear NPP has ever suffered. I say “suffered” because the pain of realisation that he was just a bigot in cassock was as an overinflated balloon that burst in our faces with its ensuing ugliness! Such fiendishness is not needed in our midst, and now that he has gone forever, I would like to tell him that his yellow butterfly has lost its shine and its majesty in flight. It is just a wobbly moth that will soon plummet into the abyss of a forest undergrowth over which it is barely floating.

It is just as well we know that NDC’s money is working for him! I don’t think that this man has discerned his irrelevance amongst the people and how uninteresting he is to the youth. But they will come, of course, enjoy the show and, at the end of it all, show him the finger! Oh well, so much for a failed politician turned event organizer!

This is all that I have to say to him, quoting king Paluta, “Hwɛ Nyame b3 hyira yɛn na ashie w’ɔmo. Mes3 wo twie ma mea, menso metwie ma wo oo”!
