Funny Face Allegedly Involved in Drunk Driving, Knocks Down 5 Pedestrians with One Feared Dead

Ghanaian comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, widely known as Funny Face, has reportedly been involved in a car accident at Kakraba Junction, Kasoa. According to eyewitnesses, the actor was heavily drunk at the time of the incident.

His car is said to have rammed into a mother and her two children, as well as two motorbikes.

Even though the actor emerged unscathed, eyewitnesses claim a life has been lost as a result of the impact which happened on the evening of Sunday, March 24, 2024.

An eyewitness, speaking to Accra-based UTV, described the scene saying Funny Face was driving under the influence, which led to the unfortunate collision.

 

Another video from the scene shows Funny Face being escorted away while bystanders gathered around the vehicle reportedly involved in the incident.

 

Funny Face gained prominence through his role in the popular sitcom “Chorkor Trotro.” He is also known by aliases such as SwagOn-Papa and Children’s President.

In recent social media outbursts, Funny Face publicly targeted his baby mama, accusing her of plotting to permanently separate him from their three children.

He has also in social media outbursts launched scathing attacks on EIB Network’s Bola Ray, Fadda Dickson of Peace FM/UTV fame, and long-time associate and close confidante, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor among others.
