Gabby Otchere Darko’s lies led to removal of Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu – Eugene Boakye Antwi

Member of Parliament for Subin, Eugene Boakye Antwi has alleged that the lies of Gabby Asare Otchere Darko led to the removal of Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu from his position as Majority Leader.

He intimates that Gabby Otchere Darko and others belonging to the President’s family thought Kyei Mensah Bonsu was behind calls from the Majority Members of Parliament calling for the sack of Ken Ofori Atta.

Eugene Antwi who described Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko as Ghana’s Prime Minister, indicated that they just lied to cause disaffection for the Majority leader who had done nothing wrong.

“They thought Kyei Mensah Bonsu was the one behind us calling for Ken Ofori Atta to be removed. Kyei Mensah Bonsu was also not even aware until we did our press conference. Where in this world did you hear him say that he wanted to be a finance minister?

Gabby is a liar who does not fear God. You called me to come to your house, and I asked you to record me because I didn’t want him to misquote me to the president. I shouldn’t have even gone there but I went and asked that he records me so that he does not misquote me to the President.

Gabby was the leader of the people who saw to the removal of the Majority Leader. But if you are going to election as critical as this and you decide to take out the experienced Leader in Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, then you clearly are not ready to make history,” he told Oyerepa FM.
