Dr. Yacoba Atiase, Head of the Centre, expressed deep gratitude to GCB Bank for their timely support. She highlighted the importance of an air-conditioned environment, noting that the Centre serves a large number of patients daily and engages in critical diabetes research.

“The facility now provides a more comfortable setting for patients, many of whom spend extended periods here for consultations, treatments, and follow-ups. It has also improved working conditions for staff, leading to enhanced productivity,” she said.

Dr. Atiase further explained that the air conditioners are vital for maintaining the right temperature for the Centre’s sophisticated medical equipment, which is sensitive to temperature fluctuations. “Air conditioning ensures the longevity and proper functioning of our devices,” she added.

With GCB Bank’s wide network, supporting the communities in which it operates is crucial for community development which impacts the country at large.
