The Apesemakahene of Mampong Akuapim, Nana Yirenkyi l, has urge all Ghanaians to support the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, to build a better football system in Ghana.
He said this when he and some chiefs in his area paid a courtesy call on him at the GFA office recently.

Together with Nana Amano Ntiamoah Djan, the Mampong Akyerepre kotokuhene, Nana Nyarko Dabehene, Assembly member for Aburi West, Koo and Konkonoruhene Nana Addo paid a visit to the boss of Ghana football at his office.
Nana Yirenkyi l noted that football has improved since Kurt Okraku assumed office and that he needs the support of all the citizenry to enable him succeed.
He advised him to regularly visit his hometown of Akuapim. Nana Yirenkyi l added that Kurt Okraku has done a lot by bringing Dreams FC to Akuapim and urged him to do more for Ghana .
The GFA President who hails from Akuapim thanked the delegation for the visit and urged the youth in the country to take sport seriously. He urged them to nurture their sporting talents in order to take advantage of the opportunities in the sports sector in the country .
Nana Yirenkyi l, on behalf of the chiefs commended the GFA President for rising to the high office he is currently occupying.
The delegation also appealed to the entire country to support him.
