The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has come under fire after presenting substandard vehicles to some Division One football clubs in the country.

On Wednesday, November 20, the GFA handed over Hyundai buses to nine Division One clubs as part of a promise to reward the top three clubs in each zone of last season’s Access Bank Division One League.

While the gesture was intended to honor the clubs’ performance, the condition of the vehicles has sparked widespread criticism. Observers noted that the interiors of the buses were in poor condition, with tattered seats and broken components, raising concerns about their suitability for use.
