GH Media School Holds 16th Graduation Ceremony

GH Media School, established by Mr. Leslie Addo-Listowell under the parent company “Media Tribe Studio 233,” has celebrated its 16th graduation ceremony. The event, themed “Foresight, Focus, and Fulfillment: A Compass for Thriving Professionals,” marked a significant milestone in the institution’s journey of providing practical education for young people.
A Journey of Growth and Expansion

Founded in March 2014 with 37 students and three lecturers—Late Dr. Williams Opare, Mr. Clifford Ladzekpo, and Mr. Romeo Agyekum—the school initially operated with two departments: Broadcasting Journalism and Television & Film Production. The first Dean of Students was Madame Hilda Doe Blackson.

Over the years, GH Media School has expanded its offerings to include four additional schools: GH Cosmetology, GH Fashion, GH Catering, and GH Technology Schools.
At the graduation ceremony, a total of 260 students from the 18th batch (17th Cohort) were awarded certificates, along with cash prizes to recognize and reward exceptional dedication and commitment.
Messages of Inspiration and Encouragement
The Guest of Honor, Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni, Member of Parliament for Okaikwei North, congratulated the graduates on their dedication and perseverance in acquiring knowledge. She commended the institution for empowering young people with practical skills and encouraged graduates to use their training to contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s development.
“GH Media School has established itself as an institution that equips young people with practical skills for thriving careers. I hope the knowledge and skills you have gained here will lead you to success in the future,” she stated.

The Chancellor of GH Media School, Dr. Kofi Osei Kusi, urged students to embrace self-discipline and humility as they embark on their professional journeys. He emphasized the importance of respect and hard work in building successful careers, saying, “Humility and respect contribute significantly to career growth.”
A Vision for Excellence
In his address, the founder, Mr. Leslie Addo-Listowell, challenged the graduates to be innovative and stand out in a highly competitive environment.
“In today’s competitive world, you face challenges from both traditional and artificial competitors. To succeed, you must focus on the knowledge and skills you have gained here, as focus will lead to fulfillment,” he said.
Mr. Addo-Listowell highlighted the school’s commitment to excellence, noting that many media houses in Ghana actively recruit GH Media School graduates due to their strong work ethic and dedication.
“A renowned media station, GHOne, recently employed 60 of our students. This reflects the hard work and commitment of GH Media School to becoming the premier private technical university in Africa and beyond,” he concluded.
