Ghana: 8th Parliament of the 4th Republic: List of Leadership and Committee Members

On January 7, 2021, 275 elected Members of Parliament were sworn into office for a four-year term, forming the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.

This follows their elections in the December 7, 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections

Prior to the swearing-in, the 275 MPs-elect, in accordance to the Articles 95, 96 and 100(2) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana, elected the Speaker of Parliament and the two Deputies.

Below are the list of the Leaders and Members of Parliament, and their Constituencies.

Speaker: Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin

1st Deputy Speaker: Joseph Osei Owusu

2nd Deputy Speaker: Andrew Asiamah Amoako

Deputy Leader: MP, Efutu, Alexander Afenyo Markins

Chief Whip: MP, Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annor Dompreh

First Deputy Chief Whip: Tolon MP, Habib Iddrisu

Second Deputy Whip: Ayawaso West-Wuogon MP, Lydia Alhassan.
