Ghana Free Zones Authority Boss adjudged Best Performing CEO in Ghana

Astute Chartered Marketer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), Mr. Michael Okyere Baafi, has been ranked the best performing Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Ghana by Asempa FM’s “Ekosii Sen” political programme.

In a list compiled at the end of 2019, panelists on the political talk show outlined best and worst performing Ministers, Deputy Ministers, as well as CEO’s of State companies for the year. They acknowledged Mr Baafi’s efforts in overseeing the state institution within the year under review.

According to ‘Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen’ program hosted by Obiri Yeboah (OB), the list was made using five key benchmarks in evaluating performance and influence of the top personnel under scrutiny.

Michael Okyere Baafi has over 15 years working experience in Strategic Marketing, Corporate Decision Making, and Customer Relationship Management at various levels.

Below is the list of CEOs and Director Generals of State institutions that were considered highly performing in the Asempa FM’s Ekosii sen show.

  1. Ghana Free Zones Authority – Michael Okyere Baafi

  2. Ghana Publishing Corporation – David Asante

  3. Ghana Industrial Holding Corporation (GIHOC)  – Maxwell Kofi Jumah

  4. State Transport Company (STC) – Nana Akomeah.

  5. National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) – John Kumah.

  6. Youth Employment Agency (YEA) –  Justin Koduah

  7. Accra Digital Centre – Kofi Nkansah Ofosu.

  13. Securities and Exchange Commission – Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh

  14. Bank of Ghana- Dr. Ernest Addison

  15. National Buffer Stock Company – Hanan Abdul Wahab

  16. National Service Scheme – Mustapha Yusif
