Ghana Health Service is ready for any disease outbreak

 The Deputy Director of Public Health and Head of Disease Surveillance at the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr Asare Bekoe says the country’s disease surveillance level is on high alert to deal with the outbreak of any disease.

This follows the Ministry of Health’s alert over a strange disease which has claimed the lives of eleven people in Liberia.

Dr Franklin Asare Bekoe said the necessary steps are being taken to deal with any possible outbreak of the disease in the country.
